Telegram entry ranges, stops, targets and partial exits

Interpret incomplete instructions, quantity allocations and gross arithmetic through a declared-unit example without assuming executable fills.

Source reference, user evidence record and bounded conclusion
Keep the source, observation and conclusion as distinct objects.

Make the instruction object explicit

A quoted entry range leaves an important question: which price and observation policy determine eligibility? Keep the publisher's rule and your subscriber observation distinct. An intended entry is not an executed price. Where no rule exists, the result remains ambiguous rather than selecting the most favourable point inside the range after seeing the chart.

Retain direction, venue, instrument units, expiry, stop intention, target instructions and amendment authority. A stop number alone does not define guaranteed account loss. Gaps, order type, liquidity and the actual exit fill can change the result. This chapter gives arithmetic under supplied assumptions, not a position-sizing recommendation.

Require a quantity rule for multiple targets

Three targets can describe choices, sequential partial exits or commentary levels. Those are different rules. Ask how much quantity exits at each target and what happens to the remainder. Keep each actual fill and quantity if account evidence is available. Without the allocation, summing every target's full-position gain inflates the represented result.

A partial exit does not close the remaining position. Preserve later stop changes, expiry and final disposition under the original rule. If the remainder is open, gross completed-account contribution may be unresolved. Do not invent a final close merely because the message recap celebrates the first target.

Show assumptions and charge boundaries

For a simple same-unit long illustration, gross contribution is the sum of exited quantities multiplied by their exit-minus-entry differences. Fees and financing are additional declared costs unless already embedded in the recorded amounts. A short, inverse contract, option or currency-converted account requires its own appropriate arithmetic. Do not apply this simple illustration universally.

A valid calculation can still describe hypothetical fills. State whether the input is an instruction, a classroom assumption, paper execution or an actual broker record. If capital is absent, use contribution units rather than account return percentages. The difference between correct arithmetic and independently observed execution is central to evaluating Telegram result banners.

Keep ambiguity visible in the review

A finished finding can say complete entry but no exit allocation, observed first target but remainder unresolved, or reconstructed gross contribution under declared assumptions. Those statements are more informative than one win badge. They identify the next missing record without claiming that every incomplete signal is fraudulent.

A copied message may drop a quantity rule or overwrite a later stop. Compare the originating source and forwarded instruction family. Record the discrepancy and the clock at which it became visible. Independent timing of a subset of payload fields cannot certify the full exit policy when that policy was never committed or observed.

Completed fictional case

Assume a fictional same-unit long entry of ten units at 100. Four units exit at 102, three at 104 and three at 99. Declared gross contribution is 4 x 2 + 3 x 4 + 3 x -1 = 17 quote units.

If each of the two profitable targets were incorrectly treated as a full ten-unit exit, the displayed sum would be 20 + 40 = 60 before the final loss: a different and unsupported quantity assumption. Actual fills, fees and account capital are not supplied in this classroom case.
