Telegram setup population calculator
Explicit declared counts, with cancelled and unresolved families kept visible.
The exact denominator
Resolved is positive plus negative plus zero. Total adds cancelled and unresolved. The conditional positive fraction is positive divided by resolved; when resolved is zero, that rate is unknown. These inputs must be complete declared status counts for the intended classroom population. An absent original record should not be disguised by entering zero.
A total from five input boxes is not proof that the expected archive was complete. This calculator does not parse Telegram exports, inspect deleted posts or infer outcomes. It counts originating setup families under your declared rule, not target-hit announcements, discussion posts or duplicate forwards.
Completed fictional twelve-family case
Enter five positive, three negative, one zero, one cancelled and two unresolved. The declared total is twelve and the resolved population is nine. The positive fraction is 55.56% after rounding. All twelve remain visible; cancelling and unresolved do not become positive outcomes.
If those five positive cases each contribute +1 unit and the three negative cases each contribute -2, gross contribution is -1 unit before further costs. A positive-outcome fraction above half still does not determine profitable account performance. The calculator does not compute contribution because those outcome amounts and account records are not its inputs.
Evidence and export boundaries
Inputs remain in the current page. Export includes the declared inputs, calculation and scope; it does not authenticate an original ledger. Changing an input invalidates the previous result until recalculation. Reset clears this page's record, not a Telegram subscription or broker account.
A real review needs a source, period, setup-identity rule, complete expected inventory and observed status records. Leave a stronger claim unresolved when those are missing. No credentials, private chat export or account connection are requested here.
Compare two valid definitions without merging them
In an invented inventory with four positive, two negative and one zero, the resolved population is seven and the positive fraction is 57.14%. A different policy reporting positive among nonzero outcomes would use six and produce 66.67%. Those are different named metrics. This tool deliberately includes zero outcomes in resolved and does not silently switch to the second definition.
Keep the exact denominator policy with any exported result. Reclassifying an unresolved case as a zero would change both completeness and the resolved metric, even if it produced a convenient percentage. The tool checks input arithmetic, not original status assignments. A user-entered count can be valid numerically while lacking its source evidence.
